Rocky Mountain Equine Podiatry Center was founded with the goal to unite the special skills, experience and knowledge of farrier and veterinarian. Our mission is to utilize this unique cooperative effort to improve the health and welfare of the equine foot and as a result, the entire horse.

Whether it be laminitis, navicular disease, generalized heel pain, club feet, hoof cracks, ringbone(degenerative joint disease), , hoof wounds, white line disease, or just a foot lame horse, our goal is to improve the health of the equine foot.

We specialize in the equine digit and don't limit ourselves to one type of shoeing style. We utilize many different types of shoeing modalities including glue-on shoes, Sigafoos series shoes (like Barbaro wore for his laminitis), heel plate and onion heel shoes, wedge aluminum shoes, rock and roll, center-bearing, and rail shoes, wooden clogs, and custom hand made shoes. Our goal is to find the shoe that will help your horse the most.
